Starfish Shorts - a pattern review

Mmmmm, I can't tell you how in love I am with the newest pattern that I was honored to test from Gracious ThreadsJessica DeWit, a lovely Canadian, has come out with a new digital pattern, "Starfish Shorts," just in time for summer.
This pattern is simply written with detailed pictures and results in fantastic shorts for BOTH boys and girls! As a mother of 5 little ones ranging from 9 to 18 months, with 3 girls and 2 boys, I was supper thrilled to have one pattern that worked for all! I was so happy with my results that I ended up making 9 pairs of shorts with this pattern last week. I appreciated that the length of the shorts we wearable for my family. We do NOT wear short shorts in our family and my little ladies are all leg, so it is very difficult for me to find shorts they can wear which keep them looking like the little girls they still are.

Another problem I did not run into with this pattern is that the shorts are a great fit for both BOYS AND GIRLS! My oldest daughter does not want to wear 'boy' shorts and she was a bit nervous when she saw me making the same shorts for her brothers. But- she has worn her shorts the last 3 days in a row!
The Starfish Shorts are a must have for your little ones summer! Go purchase your pattern NOW while they are on sale here for $5.50 and then stop by our shop to pick up some oh so yummy fabric to use, like this Riley Blake Houndstooth in Crimson, Orange or Navy!
