What is your favorite color? No brainer, green.
What other hobbies consume your free time?
Scrapbooking my family's stories, photography, clogging and a few I have lost but hope to find again soon are hiking, bird watching, and gardening.
Tell us about your family? I have an amazing hubbie who has stuck around with me for the last 11 years, 5 kids the oldest being 8 and the youngest being 7 weeks, a crazy yet ironically lazy cat, and a great supporting cast of dear family and friends.
Finish the sentence; "I'd rather be...." camping. I love to camp! I was brought up sleeping in tents, eating out of cast iron kettles, and gazing at the stars. It really is one of my most favorite things to do.
What is your favorite decorative item in your home? A blue ceramic bunny that sits on the top of my piano. Every time I look at it, I see this amazing vintage garden at twilight and think, one day I have a real bunny and a real garden. My other favorite is this huge glass jar that I got at a garage sale for $2. I filled it with dirt from my parents house, rocks from my house, a few marbles, a baseball card and a baseball. It sits on the changing table in my boys' room.
What is your favorite quote? My quote of the moment is "What we love determines what we seek. What we seek determines what we think and do. What we think and do determines who we are - and who we will become." Dieter F. Uchtdorf
What is one gift you received for Christmas? My parents bought me a Brother Serger. It was so unexpected and is so amazing.
What is your favorite book? Swan Song, by Robert McCammon, my dad gave me a copy when I was 12 and said something to the effect of 'there is good and evil in this world and its about time you learned about it.' I still have that copy and it is held together literally with a cover of duck tape. I've read it to many times to count.
